DIY: Little Who lantern Frankie the fox
It will soon be that time again! Saint Martin's Day is on 11 November. Our fox Frankie is already looking forward to it. He's counting down the days until it's that time again, because this year he'll be there in the form of a lantern.
Here you can find crafting instructions with a helpful template to print out.
We hope you have lots of fun making them and look forward to seeing your results.
What you need for the Little Who lantern Frankie:
- 2 paper plates
- Red paint
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Pencil/ pen
- Glue/ hot glue
- Tracing paper
- Black and brown cardboard
- Wire or pipe cleaners
Instructions
Step 1: Brush the two plates with the paint and leave to dry.
Step 2: Print out the template, transfer the face to both plates and cut out.
Step 3: Now stick the tracing paper behind the cut-out face. As a little help, you can now place the template under the glued tracing paper and transfer the nose, eyes and eyebrows onto it.
Step 4: Now cut out a small recess at the top for the lantern holder and glue the wire behind it.
Step 5: Then cut out the fox ears from cardboard and glue them to one of the plates in the appropriate place.
Step 6: Finally, all you have to do is glue the edges of the two plates together and you have your beautiful Frankie lantern.
We can't wait to see your results and look forward to seeing them on Instagram! Feel free to link us and have fun crafting.
