DIY: Gift wrapping inspired by Alvy the deer
Christmas time is here - and with it the search for unique gift wrapping that comes from the heart! With our cute children's backpack deer Alvy as a DIY idea, you can conjure up very special packaging that is a real eye-catcher!
In this blog post, you'll find instructions on how to design your own children's backpack deer Alvy packaging - and the best thing is: you can download the templates you need for free. Let's get started!
What you need for this:
- Cardboard (our cardboard that you get when you buy a rucksack is perfect for this)
- Scissors and glue
- Printer and cardboard
- pencil
- Wrapping paper and sellotape
This is how you proceed:
- To start, download the free children's rucksack deer Alvy template as a PDF file. You can find it here (click on the link to start the download). Print it out on sturdy paper or cardboard.
- Now turn your attention to the cardboard: Ideally, you can use the cardboard in which your rucksack was delivered. Take a paper of your choice (we used wrapping paper), place the cardboard on top and wrap your gift. Brown or beige are perfect for depicting the ‘fur’ of the deer.
- Then cut out the individual parts.
- Now place the individual parts of the template on the cardboard and stick them on.
- And voilà. You have the perfect gift wrap.
