DIY: Snow globe inspired by Alwin the penguin

Fancy making a snow globe? 🐧✨

Inspired by our children's backpack Penguin Alwin, we'll show you how to do it in this article:

You need:

  •     Our template
  •     Scissors
  •     Glue stick
  •     Hot glue gun
  •     Plastic cup
  •     Straw
  •     cardboard
  •     Pencil

Instructions:

1.    Print out the template.

2.    Cut the template so that it fits into the cup.

3.    Stick the cut-out template ‘upside down’ in the plastic cup.

4.    Cut strips of paper from the remaining paper of the template and then cut small pieces (snowflakes) directly into the cup.

5.    For the cardboard, use the plastic cup and a pencil to outline.

6.    Use the hot glue gun to apply glue to the edge of the cup.

7.     Press the cardboard onto the opening of the cup approximately at the mark

8.    Cut off the excess cardboard

9.    Make a hole at the side, relatively far down, using the hot glue gun and also one at the bottom of the cup

10.    Stick the straw through the hole in the side and you're done!
