Saint Martin is just around the corner!
And what could be more wonderful than making your own lantern together with your children – especially one that’s as strong and brave as our lion Kaius? 🦁✨
You’ll need:
-
Our template
-
Glue
-
Scissors
-
Wire
-
Black felt-tip pen
-
Lantern stick
-
Sharp pencil
-
Light-colored cardboard
Instructions:
- Cut out all parts from our template
- The belly, hands and paws can be printed or drawn onto light-colored cardboard
- Use a sharp pencil to make a small hole at the marked spot on the side template
- Glue the cardboard and the transparent paper together for the head and body
- Use the first page of the template as a guide to see where each piece should be attached
- Draw the lion’s face with a black felt-tip pen
- Repeat the same steps for the back side
- Glue the side strips together along the markings and fold the flaps inward
- Now you can use the side template to glue the front and back together
- Finally, cut a small piece of wire and attach it to hang the lantern stick
